Bling it on with Bling My Lawn!!

Bling My Lawn was started by Susie Freedman Tapper and Shannon Golding in February 2021 as a way to bring celebration back to the community during the Covid-19 pandemic. The idea was sparked by a search for something extra special to celebrate Susie’s daughter’s sweet 16th birthday.  Stumbling upon the fast growing yard card industry, Susie and Shannon saw an opportunity to bring some much needed joy to their fellow Winnipeggers. Using her background in graphic design, Susie was able to create a unique display design to make her daughter’s birthday one that she would never forget. Shannon shared it on social media and it was huge hit. Bling My Lawn was born. 

Shannon’s and Susie’s friendship spans over 30 years. Starting in grade 9, their relationship has experienced all of life’s ups and downs. They survived high school, university, being roommates in their first apartment in Winnipeg, being flat mates in London, England, moving to Toronto together, moving back to Winnipeg (although a few years apart), 2 weddings, 4 childbirths, lots of vacations, the loss of parents and grandparents, a global Pandemic and now a new business venture - together! 

Bling My Lawn is here to bring the bling to your celebration. Indoor or outdoor displays add that extra sparkle and wow factor to any party, event, drive-by, special occasion or...  just because! From birthdays to babies, anniversaries to graduations and everything in between, they’ve got your bling. If they don’t have it, they can create it!
